Rio 2016 Olympics 7th August India Full Schedule Day 2 Fixtures Time in IST : Olympics have started and today is the second day. It was a great opening of team India in various games. However, in some of them results were not expected as came. Day 2 is going to be more fabulous as already it’s a Sunday and players are ready to compete. There will be total of 5 events for India today.
The first day was like dejection for India. India’s Men’s Olympics Hockey team won the match with 3-2 against Ireland. However, shooters Apurvi Chandela and Ayonika Paul failed to make it to the final of women’s 10m Air Rifle. Similarly, Jitu Rai didn’t played up to the mark. 7th August is second day for India in Rio Olympics 2016. The second day attraction will be Dipa Karmakar, Heena Sidhu and our women’s hockey team.

On Day 2, India is hoping for a better result as compared to Day 1. Heena Sidhu in shooting in 10m Air Pistol is speculated as a medal prospect. In archery Indian women’s team comprising of Bombayla Devi, Deepika Kumari and Laxmirani Majhi will be seen in action. The trio will first compete in Elimination Round on 7th August.
We have already seen the result of Day 1 of Men Hockey Team. And the same is expected from Women’s hockey team. On Day 2, Women’s team will compete against Japan today. Dipa Karmakar – India’s first women gymnast to qualify for Rio Olympics will be the centre of attraction.

At 6:15 PM – GYMNASTICS | Dipa Karmakar
